Vietnam exports Fruit, veg to China increased 218 percent


Fruits and Vegetables

On August 15th Monday, Vietnam General Department of Customs reported that fruits and vegetable exports are increased by over 218% during the first half of the year 2016.

Vietnam has sold some 803.808 million U.S. dollars worth of fruits and vegetables. In the six month period, China remained the biggest importer of Vietnam fruits and vegetables, accounting for nearly70% of the Vietnam total share market.

Vietnam has exported fruits like watermelon, dragon fruit and Logan to the country. During the six month period, Vietnam has exported fruits and vegetables to the world market in revenue of 1.16 billion U.S. dollars.

According to Vietnam Association, fruits and vegetables are exported to nearly 40 countries and territories worldwide.
